“Church Development Plan”
MASTER “Upward” (Spiritual Worship)

Developing Holistic Individual and Corporate Worship

Overall Church Synopsis

One of the greatest travesties that’s unintentionally effects the church is the lack of outward evangelism. The primary purpose of the church is to flow in outward evangelism that inward growth will increase. The church does not exist to operate only exciting programs i.e; church socials, dinners, picnics, outings. The “church” exists to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. The reciprocal factor of outward evangelism returns as natural church growth/development that increases the inward ministry.

Master Upward: This concept executes the complete order of worship. The Upward ministry walks the believer through a life of spiritual formation that exceeds the typical Sunday morning experience. The ministry of the upward teaches believers the importance of daily devotion, mediation, and scripture as well as the sincerity and importance of corporate worship with fellow believers.

Scripture: John 4:23 – But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way. 24For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.

Ministry Inward: This concept executes the complete order of the visionary (pastor). The set vision that has been given to the pastor will be taught and strengthened through the local congregation. Ministry leaders and laity will be taught the importance of the vision and its purpose to be executed for the edifying of the church. The local church ministries i.e; children, youth, men, woman, senior’s, discipleship, fine arts, leadership, etc are essential for those who are welcomed into the fellowship because of outward evangelism. In this post modernity age, middle age sophisticated families are looking for a local church that will meet the needs of their family holistically. If those needs are not meet they will seek for fellowship elsewhere because of your lack resources.

How do you build these resources (children, youth, men, woman, senior’s, discipleship, fine arts, and leadership)? These resources are built through personal training and development within you congregation. Allowing them to understand and ascertain the importance of church ministry and also how others are strengthened in their faith because of the structure and sincerity of the church internal ministries.

Scripture: Ephesians 4:12-13 – Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. 13This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.

Ministry Outward: This executes the complete order of the great commission. The great commission stands to empower the world through the gospel of Jesus Christ. The world is empowered by the testimonies of the believers. The disciples of the 1st century church were murdered because of their conviction and belief in the recent risen Savior. The same purpose then is the same mission now, “To the utmost Jesus Christ Saves and he wants you to live!”

Scripture: Matthew 28:18-20 – Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. 19Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Scripture: Acts 1:7-8He replied, “The Father alone has the authority to set those dates and times, and they are not for you to know. 8But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
